I met a veteran today he was a paratrooper during WWII during the battle of the Bulge. He was 90 years old. He told me the real heroes are the ones who did not make it back. I told him that he was in fact a hero and thanked him for his service. It saddens me because that man lost friends and brothers, and risked his life all for the sake of this country. And most of the time all we do is complain about our country. Regardless of what’s going on in Washington D.C. we should be thankful that we live in America. America made possible by the men and women who served and still serve our country.
